CDL A, CDL B, Distributor drivers report to Job Foremen\/Superintendent.<\/p>\n

Job summary:<\/strong> Experienced truck drivers with Class A or Class B CDL licenses for driving tri-axle trucks and\/or tri-axle truck with trailer and\/or distributor truck (must have or be willing to get tanker endorsement). Haul aggregate to and from jobs. Load\/unload equipment, hook up trailers, transport to and from jobs. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations as well as with company policies and procedures.<\/p>\n

Essential duties and responsibilities:<\/strong> Hauls aggregate to and from jobs\/ operating distributor truck. In addition, this role may support the paving crew doing labor work as necessary.<\/p>\n

Abilities required:<\/strong> Ability to do some manual labor and light lifting. Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly. Must be able to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies. Work overtime as required.<\/p>\n

Experience should include work with breakdown rollers, rubber tired rollers, and finish rollers.<\/p>\n

Job summary:<\/strong> Requires the operation of self-propelled steel drum, rubber-tired, vibratory, segmented or other type roller to compact earth, subgrade, sub-base, and asphalt surfaces in the construction of highways, streets, parking lots, and driveways. The job requirements are to distribute, break down, compress, and give a finished surface to cooling Asphalt. The first stage breaks down the asphalt mix with the breakdown roller, the second stage compresses it with a rubber tired roller, and the final finish is given by the finish roller. Roller operators may also be required to compact earth fills, sub grades, and flexible base. Also requires laboring as needed on the job.<\/p>\n

Essential duties and responsibilities:<\/strong> Drives machine in successive overlapping passes over surfaces to be compacted, rolling subgrade and asphalt to desired compaction and smoothness. Determines speed and direction of machine based on knowledge of compressibility of material under changing temperatures. Pushes hand roller, pounds surfaces with hand tamp, or operates plate compactor over areas not accessible to road roller.<\/p>\n
